We are a church that belives in Jesus christ.
Our service is on Sunday mornings at 10.30 am which usually lasts for about 1 hour. We have a communion service once a month and we have an All-Age service as well. For the All-Age service, the children would stay in Church for the whole of the service and would have a slot which would be agreed between the Minister and the Junior Church Ministry superintendent. For the other services, the Junior Church members would join the congregation for the first 15 minutes of the service then leave for their own classes. They would then re-join the congregation for the communion service as we sing the communion hymns. Whilst the Junior Church is with the congregation we have the Lord’s Prayer and the collection is taken.
We have a membership of around 70 and our congregation currently around 65/70, including children, which range from 0 to 12 in number with the average ages being between 7-12.
About Main ChurchOn the other Sundays, the Junior Church children would stay in the service for the first 15 minutes. They would then leave for their own Sunday School classes, returning during the final segment of the service for the Lord’s Prayer and church collection. On some occasions, the children and young people would lead the service, as agreed by the minister and Junior Church superintendent.
Members of the congregation take part in the services by reading the lessons. Our hymn book is Singing the Faith. Although we are used to a traditional form of worship, as a congregation we are always willing to explore other forms of worship. The music for morning worship is usually provided by the organist or digital musical arrangement. Every Couple of months, we have a bring and share lunch. We also have quiz nights every 6 months and other events throughout the year
About Junior Church
We aim to achieve this by encouraging, through the churches in our Circuit, the workship, social, and outreach activities that currently exist, and seeking new ways to extend to others the fellowship of the Church family. We aim to be: A Circuit that –
The santuary and the hall can be hired for various functions or activities. We request a donation for the hiring of both the Hall and/or Sanctuary. We provide indoor Table Tennis and Badminton for recreational use. Donations for these activities will be given by the booking secretary.
